Here is my repository of pictures from various Palm Canyon rides. Some of these pictures are also on the main page.
This was my third year doing an open invite group ride for Palm Canyon. We ended up with 14 riders total. The farthest distance traveled award to get here award goes to Melt you came down from Northern California. Just behind him was Cris, Will and Jeff who came in from Phoenix. This was by far the best sizable group rides I have ever done there from the perspective that the weather was great. There were no crashes, no injuries, and barely a few scratches on a few people. There was also only one flat for the whole day. Anyone who has ever done Palm Canyon will tell you those are downright not the norm for this ride.
Brisk and breezy at the top with some remnants of snow in the shadows.

A group of some of the usual suspects on SpokeJunkies got together for a weekend of riding near Palms Springs. Palm Canyon was Day Two of the weekend. We had folks from Ohio, Arizona, Colorado, and Northern California out on this ride. As always, Palm Canyon always delivers a highly memorable ride.
I managed to con some folks into joining for this ride and it turned out quite well in a we all survived. The temperatures were quite freaking hot and most of us where not conditioned for the hot weather yet so it ride became bruiser. The 3 mile sand climb was what really put the hurting on most folks. It was good times and I got to meet some new and talented mountain bikers. Here are some of the pictures from the ride. Other pictures from this ride are interspersed in with the trail description above.
